Mohaka River Farm

A community-built retreat on the Mohaka River in Hawke's Bay, between Taupo and Napier. Mohaka River Farm creates authentic experiences where learning, craft, and connection come together — guided fly fishing, knife making, pottery, woodworking, leatherwork, log-to-home tours, guided hunting, horse treks, weddings, and team-building events. Accommodation in two cosy 20m² studio chalets (sleeping 2 each) plus a new 45m² two-bedroom cottage (sleeping 4). Breakfast included, full catering optional with hearty local-produce menu. The chalets sit in their own private area 2km from the main farm homes, with absolute quiet, dark skies, and a short walk to the river.
